Industrial blasting services

Preparing surfaces for finishing starts with the removal of impurities and old coatings.

This is usually done using a simple but effective technique, sandblasting.

The blasting process involves cleaning and polishing a surface using a high-pressure jet combined with a blasting agent.

Blasting can be done with various materials:

 - with sand

 - with dry ice

 - with water

 - with steam/air

 - other materials such as: steel/glass pellets/balls, calcium silicate, sodium bicarbonate, aluminium oxide, copper slag, olivine, etc.

The material is chosen according to the item that is to be blasted and the type of blasting: light, deep or very deep.

The type of blasting and the material used is determined by qualified personnel who are able to decide these details so that the quality and structure of the object is not affected, but at the same time the cleaning is proper.

The main role of sandblasting is to deeply clean any type of material, but sandblasting is also used to prepare the surface of an object for various final finishes.

In the case of reconditioned storage tanks, sandblasting removes traces of rust, old paint, dust, to prepare the object for the new paint.

In the case of new storage tanks, the surface must be sandblasted, degreased, so that the paint sticks more firmly.

It is important that the vulnerable components: electronics, cables, etc. are removed or protected during the blasting process.
